Why were we formed?
To encourage community philanthropy so that important projects not funded by other sources (NOHOA, City of North Oaks) can be accomplished in a timely fashion.

What does NOCF do?
Match community needs with community resources.

How will a North Oaks resident be impacted?
Donated funds are tax deductible. Residents will see a wider variety of programming. NOCF provides all residents the opportunity to participate in community activities and to give back to the community in a meaningful way.

How is the NOCF funded?
The NOCF will be funded by individual contributions, fundraising efforts, grants and membership dues.

What type of contributions does the Foundation accept?
Cash, checks, credit cards, collectibles, securities, property and time, talent and ideas for new programs.

What are the benefits of contributing?
The Foundation will provide a wider variety of programs, personal growth and satisfaction and a broader connection to the community.

What are some examples of new programming?
A few examples might include capital improvements, such as new buildings, shelters and playgrounds, environmental projects, athletic programs, community groups, and educational and cultural events.
